Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid Adventure Comfort Seat (2023 Onwards)

At Kelpi, adventure riding is our foundation, and after logging thousands of kilometres on the T7 World Raid, it became clear that the OEM seat wasn’t up to the challenge. The Kelpi Adventure Comfort Seat is a ground-up rework of the factory unit, purpose-built to maximise long-distance comfort while preserving the Tenere’s off-road agility. While the section near the tank remains close to stock to maintain rider mobility, the middle and rear zones have been significantly widened by around 25% and rebuilt using multi-density foam for consistent support over extended rides.

In contrast to Yamaha’s hard Rally seat, which suits only aggressive trail work, our seat caters to riders seeking day-long rideability without compromising control. After countless hours of real-world testing with seasoned adventurers, we’ve tuned the profile to provide a more balanced, grounded feel when seated, while helping distribute weight across multiple riding positions more effectively.

Tailored Ride Comfort

Rather than padding over the original foam, we’ve stripped it back entirely and rebuilt the structure with a triple-density foam core. This configuration increases support across a broader surface area, reducing pressure points and improving ride stamina. Up front, we’ve refined the edges to improve ground reach. Toward the rear, the recontoured padding delivers a substantial upgrade in comfort over the factory seat.

Trim & Materials

The Adventure trim features a two-tone black stitched vinyl with a ribbed gripper insert, durable, textured, and ready for serious exploration.

Installation Process

This is a custom rework of your existing Yamaha T7 World Raid seat. You’ll need to ship us your original seat for modification. Once received, our typical turnaround time is 7 days. All Kelpi products are carefully packed and shipped worldwide to prevent damage in transit.
