YAMAHA XSR900 (2022-2026+) SEAT RESHAPE & CUSTOM TRIM

There’s no denying the new-gen XSR900 is a machine worthy of every indulgence. Universally praised for its performance and versatility, the new platform was met with mixed reactions when the factory seat was revealed. Whether you love or hate the design, we’ve got you covered.

For those not sold on the new silhouette, we’ve reshaped the stock unit to reflect the curvaceous styling of the ‘70s while keeping the visual edge of the XSR900 platform intact. Drawing inspiration from previous XSR generations and the Ducati Supersport, we’ve smoothed the seat profile, softened the tail, and made substantial comfort upgrades while retaining compatibility with panniers and most aftermarket tail racks.

You can order this seat in two ways:

• Owner-Supplied Seat + Trim – Take your seat off your bike, mail it to us (or drop it off in-person) and we’ll reshape the foam + retrim it in-house. Once we've got everything assembled, we'll mail it back to you (or you can pick it up from our shop). Ideal for Australian clients - please be aware that there is a subsequent lead time of 2-3 weeks for this option due to shipping times etc.

• New Seat Unit + Trim – Includes a brand-new genuine Yamaha seat reshaped in our Kelpi signature profile. Best for international clients (or Australian clients) who’d prefer to keep riding while we build their seats. A Yamaha base adds $550 to the build. Select this option if you have a 2025 onwards XSR900.

Design & Craftsmanship

Each seat is handmade to order in our Brisbane workshop using premium automotive materials. Foam inserts are tailored to your height and weight, offering a made-to-measure experience from the ground up. Like all Kelpi seats, the reshaped XSR900 trims aren’t just about looks—they’re built for comfort on every ride.

Each seat is handcrafted using a collection of high end materials that we have chosen and sourced globally, creating a world class trail of provenance unseen amongst our competitors.

Fitment

• Fits 2022–2024 Yamaha XSR900
  
  
• Fits 2025-2026+ Yamaha XSR900 only when selecting New Seat & Trim option - the seat pan from a 2022-2024 XSR900 will fit a newer 2025 model; but not the other way around

• Oxley – Black vinyl with black suede diamond stitch insert and pale gold stitch

Installation & Customisation

We base the foam additions on your height and weight as part of the made-to-measure services we offer. Foam thickness and insert styling can be adjusted on request.
