Adventure riding is at the heart of Kelpi, and the T7 has always been one of our favourite platforms to work on. After years refining our Tenere comfort seat for the 2018–2024 models, we've taken everything that works on our comfort seats and packaged it into the most convenient upgrade we've offered for this bike yet.

The 2025 Tenere 700 Comfort Seat Trim is a trim-only solution, meaning there's no need to send your seat in for foam reshaping. Instead, it ships ready to fit, complete with our proven 24mm comfort foam layer pre-installed and matched to your rider weight. Bolt-on comfort, done properly.

For T7 riders who want to push their daily range without the fatigue that comes with the stock seat, this is the most direct path to getting there. Whether you're deep into a multi-day adventure or just putting in the kilometres on the weekends, the difference is felt from the first long stint in the saddle.

Purpose-Built for Long-Distance Adventure

The stock Tenere 700 seat is a common complaint point among riders who take the T7 beyond its comfort range. It's functional for shorter stints, but hours on the bike reveal the hard edges and inadequate support that come with most factory seats.

Our 24mm comfort foam layer is the same spec we've used across our T7 seat range since day one, density-graded to rider weight so that lighter riders aren't bottoming out and heavier riders aren't riding on something that compresses flat within an hour. The result is a seat that remains supportive throughout the ride rather than breaking down when you need it most.

By incorporating the foam directly into the trim rather than requiring a full reshaping service, we've removed the biggest logistical barrier to upgrading your T7 seat. Order it, install it yourself in under 15 minutes, ride.

Trim Design

The 2025 Adventure Comfort Seat Trim carries across our Adventure trim design we've honed for the Tenere platform, as well as Aprilia's Tuareg 660. Built for the demands of adventure touring, the trim uses a tough two-tone vinyl construction with a ribbed gripper insert to keep you planted across a variety of riding positions, from sealed roads to the rough stuff.

Fitment & Installation

This is a trim-only product, your stock seat base stays exactly where it is. The trim arrives pre-fitted with our comfort foam layer and is designed to be stapled over the top of your existing stock seat foam using an air-powered 6–8 mm staple gun and a flat-head screwdriver. Installation typically takes around 35 minutes and is supported by our comprehensive video guide.

For those who'd prefer not to install themselves, any local upholsterer can fit it for a small fee. We actually encourage this, you'll get perfect fitment and an unbiased professional opinion on the quality of our upholstery. In five years, we're yet to hear of a trimmer who hasn't been impressed.

Why Trim Only?

Our standard T7 Adventure Comfort Seat involves a full seat rebuild, we reshape the foam, rebuild the profile, and recraft the whole unit from the base up. It's the most comprehensive upgrade we offer, but it requires you to send your seat to us and wait for the return.

The 2025 Comfort Seat Trim keeps the comfort foam upgrade while cutting out the reshape step entirely. The 2025 T7 uses a seat base that lends itself well to a trim-only approach, which means you don't need to ship anything, just order, receive, and install. It's the same foam specification, the same weight-matched density system, and the same long-distance advantage, delivered in the most straightforward format we've ever offered for this platform.

Order Information

When adding your seat to the cart, please include your weight and specify the units (lbs or kg) so we can select the correct foam density for you. This step is important — the foam is matched to your weight at the time of manufacture and cannot be swapped afterwards.

All seats are handcrafted to order in Brisbane, Australia. Please allow 2–4 weeks between order and dispatch. You'll receive a tracking notification once your seat is on its way.
